Monocouche rendering on a bungalow
“They have done an absolutely fantastic job. They were tidy, on time every day and very polite. To be honest the drive looks better now than when they started, as they jet washed, cleaning up after the job, it had gone rather green lately! The bungalow of mine was a rather big job and was open to the elements by the sea in Rhosneigr, I needed something tough enough to last and better looking than the dated render I had on the property. Most important of all for me was if I had questions I could openly speak to anyone that was on site and everyone had time for me, they were a really knowledgeable and polite team which in my experience is hard to come by. To summarise I’m very happy with the work the bungalow now looks brand new, the poshest in the row. I will hopefully be getting Rhys and his team in again soon for a garage conversion I need doing to create a bigger kitchen space. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Rhys and his great company.”

“We were contacted by Madeline via email, she had been looking through our website and was keen to get her lovely large bungalow modernised to the highest of standards. We shortly met up to have a look at the work that needed doing at her property in Rhosneigr. We soon established that she wanted a modern coloured render, not the traditional sand and cement route that was originally used. We agreed to use a nice Weber chalk on this project as Madeline loved this colour after selecting it from the colour chart provided. Once scaffolding was erected on gable ends we got started on the job. Even though the render was very old and tired looking, it was still solid and our operatives did get it all hacked off, but not without a fight. This pushed us back a week or so but once we got started on the rendering we soon made up time. Madeline wanted her property in Rhosneigr to stand out. To achieve this, we formed nice bands with the render around the windows and coins on four corners of the property with a darker render colour. We went for graphite and it does look great. We managed to finish the work in our time frame of five weeks including having scaffolding removed and thorough clean around the property and jet washed the drive where we had been working. Madeline has succeeded in her quest to modernise the property, it now truly looks fabulous.
