"Rhys came along and plastered our living room ceiling and hall ceiling, being a painter and decorator by trade I was extremely impressed with the quality of his work, he was a friendly guy and easy to get along with, and I can’t express enough how I wish more of my customers would find Rhys to plaster before I decorated as my job would be a lot easier. “We originally met William doing some work on a few bigger rendering jobs in Llandudno. We had been applying finish plaster internally and some k-rend externally. We would often have a chat, mainly because I was also very impressed with William’s decorating skills. We got invited round to William’s house in Llandudno to look at some cracked ceilings. Immediately we noticed the problem, a very common one for that, It was the old lath and lime plaster. The lime had started to split away from the lath due to old age and probably vibrations walking above over many years. As the ceilings had been gradually dropping lower and lower this was not the usual overboard and plaster. Both rooms had to be cleared empty and ceiling had to be carefully removed, fresh plasterboard and plaster. It took longer to clean than to do the work I’m sure. This was because we wanted to keep everything spotless and not cause any disruption as the old dust goes everywhere. Overall everything went really well, a lot of cleaning but this all contributes to leaving a perfect finish for the customer.
